2.ATV Ziplines, Cenote, Lunch, Horseback Riding and Tequila Tasting

★★★★★★★★★★4.5 · 722 reviews · 5 hours (approx.) · from $70

Spend about five hours at Mayan Jungle Rush near Puerto Morelos, combining four ziplines, hanging bridges, a 30-minute ATV ride, horseback riding, a freshwater cenote, tacos, and tequila tasting. Guides such as Chris, Flako, H, and David Flash help keep the busy schedule moving.

“We booked this tour for a group of 13. While the tour itself was okay, two major issues significantly ruined the experience. First, upon arrival, we were hit with a mandatory $12 per person "insurance" fee. This was not disclosed during booking. Although the waiver form had an "I do not want insurance" option, the guide insisted it was compulsory and made everyone pay. This is a hidden fee and feels like a bait-and-switch tactic. Second, the return transportation was terribly mismanaged. After the tour is completed, we back to the gift shop and were told to wait 10 minutes for the van. After 30 minutes, we were let into…”

Guides such as Andy, George, Alex, Flash, and Skinny are known for keeping groups relaxed. Pickup from Cancun and Puerto Morelos is available.

“Our ATV, zipline, and cenote experience in Cancun was disappointing. We added a horseback ride for $25 per person, expecting 30 minutes, but got only 7-8 minutes. Lunch was just two small tacos, and we spent about 15 minutes at the cenote instead of the promised 30-40 minutes. The entire experience felt rushed, and the guides focused more on upselling photo packages and pressuring us for tips. Overall, it was overpriced and not worth it.”

4.Tequila Tasting, Horseback Riding,ATV, Ziplines Cenote and Lunch

★★★★★★★★★★4.5 · 163 reviews · 5 hours (approx.)

You’ll spend about five hours at a jungle park near Puerto Morelos, riding an ATV and horse, crossing beginner-friendly zip lines, swimming in a cenote, and eating lunch. Guides such as Raul, Arturo, Ricardo, and Flash are frequently praised for keeping groups safe and upbeat. Bring swim gear and plan for extra fees.

“The ATV tour was a loop with photo opportunities. We had reserved a double and a single. They told us the single person would have to ride behind a guide unless we paid an additional fee. The ziplines were fun. But the group was too large - we barely fit on the treestands between lines. The horseback ride was scheduled after noon and the heat was unbearable for the animals. The ride was just a loop for photo ops. No one rode with us, but a couple of guys were running next to us. It was not enjoyable having folks run along side. Most of the day was very focused…”

“Had such a great time with Misael and his crew during our excursion! Friendly and knowledgeable about the area, they drove us from the pickup point, telling us about the area and history, then had the photographer Anthony join us on the zip line and waterfall guided excursion which was amazing (activity level 7.5 out of 10 but offered lots of breaks and options for those who did not want to make the jump into the falls) then met with again for a nice Dominican buffet lunch followed by a rum tasting and city drive by for a few landmark photos! Overall really great day”

“The experience was great. Our guide Julio was awesome and very knowledgeable about everything….. The only bad part which kinda ruined the whole experience was Angel the driver back to the resort he was super rude he was driving crazy and than demanded a tip. The resort manager had to step in because he was making a scene in the lobby….. He was very unprofessional….”
